Letter: Going broke in Mt. Pleasant

Vote for something different

Once again Mt. Pleasant residents are being advised by the “Village Cryer” that everything is just fine in the village. She was quick to point out that Mt. Pleasant taxes are lower than Caledonia and much lower than Sturtevant. Thank you for pointing that out, Juliet Edmonds, the proof is in the pudding.

Can anyone name the past village president that got Sturtevant into this mess?

If that’s what Mt. Pleasant residents want for their future tax bills, then vote for the incumbents. I’m voting for change since I can’t afford to pay for all these great plans our current village board has for us.
